Mental Elf 2025

Mental Elf is back for 2025 – and better than ever. After sadly having to cancel our 2024 event owing to bad weather, we’re raring to go this year and have been busy planning how to make this year’s run an event to remember!

It’s all about coming together with your local community to do something positive for yourself, while also giving back by helping to raise vital funds for Brecon & District Mind. You’ll have the chance to connect with others, enjoy some physical activity, spend time in nature and experience the feel-good factor of supporting your local mental health charity – all of which can give your own wellbeing a real boost.

Take part in the festive family 5km fun run at The Promenade park on Sunday 30th November.
Registration opens at 10.30am and the run begins at 12 noon.

Join us at our festive fun run where you can walk, jog, skip or run our 5km route. As well as the fun run, there will be festive activities for the family, a hot drink station, a choir performance, a goody bag with your very own medal and more. And don’t forget your elf ears or Santa hats!

While Christmas fancy dress is not required, it’s very much encouraged and there will be prizes for best dressed on the day. Mental Elf is open to all abilities and ages and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Mental Elf is an inclusive and non-competitive event which focuses on bringing people together, not only to fundraise, but to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing. It promotes the benefits of physical activity, connecting with people and doing something to help others.

Corporate opportunities

Supporting local people’s mental health has never been more important than it is right now. Your colleagues, customers, suppliers and the communities you want to reach all have mental health. There’s no better time to show your company’s commitment to improving mental health for everyone.

Partnering with us for Mental Elf 2025 would be an excellent opportunity to raise your business profile whilst supporting Brecon and District Mind’s vital work. We have a couple of sponsorship opportunities remaining – please see the ‘corporate sponsorship’ button on this page for more information – plus other ways you could support us.

Please contact ali@breconmind.org.uk for more information.
