A Space for Grief, Healing & Hope
Grief Awareness Week
As part of National Grief Awareness Week, Brecon & District Mind is offering three reflective events to explore grief, loss, and healing. These sessions are open to anyone; professionals, volunteers, family, carers, those who are grieving, or anyone seeking understanding and connection.
Day 1 – Understanding Grief
Wednesday 3rd December, 1.30–4.30pm, Kensington Church)
Learn about supporting yourself and others through grief, with input from Gethin Amoss and the Powys Teaching Health Board Postvention Team.*
Day 2 – Creative Reflection on Bereavement
Friday 5th December, 1.30–4pm, Kensington Baptist Church
Explore grief through a gentle art workshop led by Miriam Vincent, founder of Minnie La La Designs.**
Day 3 – Hope & Remembrance
Sunday 7th December, 1–3pm, Brecon Promenade & Kensington Baptist Church
Take part in a Memory Walk for those bereaved by suicide and a Memorial Service for anyone who finds Christmas difficult.
There is no charge to attend, though donations are very welcome.

Brecon & District Mind also runs a regular Bereavement Support Group and provides counselling services for ongoing support.
