What Is Green Minds?

We offer a range of nature-based activities from regular drop-in gardening sessions at our weekly community garden group, more informal walk and talk sessions at beautiful locations in and around Brecon, to six-week nature connection group programmes including environmental art, mindfulness and movement in nature.

Green Minds is for anyone looking to improve their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing or those wishing to reconnect with nature. You can refer yourself directly to Green Minds and we also take referrals through GPs, mental health practitioners, support workers or social prescribers.

How To Get Involved

Our Green Minds service is managed by our Eco-Therapy coordinator, James. Green Minds runs seasonal programs throughout the year.

Email enquiries to greenminds@breconmind.org.uk or refer yourself using the referral button at the top of the page.

We are so grateful for the funding we have received, which has allowed the project to continue and grow, and for the support from Brecon Cathedral where we have established a beautiful community garden.

Being in nature makes me feel more calm and less anxious. At Green Minds I have made new friends and the sessions have been so rewarding.
