Together they ensure the organisation fulfils its purpose (promoting good mental health through the provision of high-quality services and campaigning for positive change), meets its goals, provides good and relevant services to the people of Brecon and District, and manages our funding positively in order to do this sustainably.
We’re looking for a small number of enthusiastic individuals who will work in partnership with fellow Trustees and the Senior Management team. We’re specifically looking for people with experience in one or more of the following areas
- Mental health issues facing children and young people
- Mental health issues facing adults
- NHS or local mental health commissioning
- Charity governance including health and safety and GDPR
- IT
- Finance and financial management
- Income generation and fundraising
The Trustees are volunteers and while not paid, will be able to claim out of pocket expenses. We’re looking for a regular commitment from our new colleagues and you should be able to commit to a monthly board meeting, sub-Committee meetings as required as well as some advisory work.
We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds. We do not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, colour, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or other category protected by law.
