Mental Health Help

We are aware that more people than ever are struggling with life’s difficulties and pressures. When life gets too difficult it can be hard to contain feelings and emotions that arise, which can lead to thoughts of self-harm and suicide. We want to provide a safe space where people can talk openly to skilled and experienced staff in order to prevent situations escalating. We are therefore launching a pilot out of hours Crisis Prevention Service. This service will provide a place of safety and support, with qualified crisis support staff when an individual is in mental health crisis.

How to get in touch

The service starts on Wednesday 3rd February 2021 and will operate 5 nights per week initially – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sundays from 7:30-10:30pm. Crisis workers will be available to take calls from 7pm via the crisis line – 01874 793118.
