“I would definitely recommend Active Monitoring to anyone who is seeking help and guidance in regards to any aspect of their mental health. I emailed the team at a point where I was very low and didn’t know where to go. The team replied very promptly and within a few weeks I had a meeting arranged with Dan. I nearly cancelled the meeting so many times out of nerves and negative feelings such as they’ll think I’m stupid, there’s nothing wrong with me etc but Dan was very calm, listened and put me at ease straight away. We decided which area to focus on and for the next 4 sessions Dan was there to listen and also gave me lots of great techniques to try to ease my anxiety. I made sure to try at least one of the suggestions each week and these techniques along with having someone to talk to helped me a great deal. In such a short space of time (5 sessions ) I had come away feeling more me. More happy. More open to talk about my feelings. I still use some of the techniques now when I feel anxious and I am currently reading a book to help me further which was also recommended by the very talented Dan. I would like to thank Dan and all of the team at Active Monitoring for a great service and for supporting and helping a very anxious, closed off and guarded 33 year old become herself again 😊”
